​Yesenia Pilgrim (Yes-in-E-uh) was born and raised in Idaho. Yesenia is a senior at North Idaho Christian School; she is also an active member of her student council as student body president. Yesi is also a member of North Idaho Saddle Mule Club. She fell in love with rodeo and all things equine when she was at her first foster home, where she learned to ride horses. She is consistently learning all things equine at Gem State Mule Company. She now rescues horses at Malinauskas Cattle Company down in Worley, Idaho. Yesi was 4 years old when she entered foster care and dreamed of becoming a rodeo queen. She is now 18 and her dreams have come true. She believes with just a little courage you can accomplish your dreams, just like she has.
